After the big kiddos left for testing, Azaryah and Mommy put on their tennis shoes and went to the park...Stopping first at the local doughnut shop for a tasty treat ;-)
Mommy let Azaryah climb all over the park equipment without "worrying" about him falling...(Mommy climbed with him!! heehee)
Azaryah did a great job running around the jungle gym...
After Mommy and Azaryah got tired of climbing and sliding, they enjoyed some rest on the swings...After the park, they enjoyed a few hours at home of puzzles, games and of course, Word World and Barney...
Welcome as you step inside our daily life. We are excited to share with you glimpses of what God is doing in our family. Our family's journey began 21 years ago when Glen and I were married. We have had wonderful times as well as trials. Our journey is not perfect, but we are committed to try to glorify the Lord and we are excited to have you join us in our walk. Hold on because you are in for a fun, but bumpy ride…

Our Day...
Today, Corbyn, Eden, and Keziah had testing. They were up at 6:15 and out the door at 7:00. Once they left, Azaryah had Mommy all to himself ;-)
Azaryah and I started our day at the local coffee shop...Hot chocolate for him and Chai for me...
The chocolate pie was lookin' really yummy, so we had to split a piece.
After our morning coffee, we headed back home for some games, coloring, toys and Barney. Daddy called and invited us to join him in his conference room for lunch. We packed our lunches and headed out again.
Azaryah enjoys Daddy's office and they both worked very hard ;-)
Daddy closed the doors to the conference room and enjoyed some alone time with his littlest guy and his favorite wife!!! heehee

New Friends...
Last night, we had the blessing of getting to know JD and Sara better. We have chatted in the halls at church but never sat down and really talked. They are such a sweet couple and have a precious testimony. God is so gracious to allow us such sweet friendships.
JD and Sara's little boy, James, and Azaryah are big buds. All of the kiddos played so well together and Corbyn blessed us with the opportunity to really fellowship as he watched over and played with the little ones.
James is going to be a "big brother" in July. JD and Sara are expecting a little girl and of course Sara looks absolutely adorable ;-) Children are precious gifts from God!!

My Boys...
Corbyn and Azaryah are best buddies. We were concerned that the age difference would keep them from being close, but we were wrong. Azaryah thinks the world of Corbyn and wants to be just like his big brother (which is fine with us because Corbyn is a wonderful young man). Corbyn thinks Azaryah is great and he always includes him in everything he is doing. Even when Corbyn wants to play with the big boys, he always makes sure Azaryah is not left out ;-)
Azaryah versing Corbyn in a game of Wii Brawl...
Isn't this so sweet?!?! Our naptime is from 1:30-3:30 everyday. Azaryah is FULL of energy and goes none stop, but his little body needs the rest. Yesterday, we were running a little behind and our lunch was a little later than usual. I was cleaning the kitchen and looked up and noticed it was 1:40. I said, "Okay, Kiddos, it's naptime." To which they responded, "We know, Azaryah is already asleep!"

Branson Trip - The Hotel
Branson Trip - The Shows
Glen treated our family to two shows while we were in Branson, MO. The first show was on Monday night at the Dixie Stampede. The children had a blast. My parents had taken Glen and I the one in Gatlinburg, TN a few years before we had children and we loved it. It was so much fun watching the children enjoy this for the first time. The show begins with dinner served without silverware and while we are eating with our fingers we are watching the North and the South compete in several different competitions ranging from fancy horseback riding to pig races. Too Fun!!
The second show was the New Shanghai Circus - Chinese Acrobats. It was simply amazing. We have never seen anything like it. These young people are amazing with their drums, acrobatic stunts and flexiblity. Our family really enjoyed the show. Glen and I were so thankful for the opportunity to share another culture with our children while emphasizing how God has created each of us differently yet with the same purpose - to Glorify Him. God's creativity was certainly evident in the faces and abilities of each one of the performers.
The children chose which performer they wanted their picture taken with after the show. The boys chose the young man who did the martial arts. The girls chose one of the young ladies who played the drums and the other who was in the acrobatic show.

Branson Trip - The Swimming
Our hotel had a heated pool so we were able to swim everyday. I am not big on swimming, but the water was so warm, I swam and played with the kiddos for several hours. I even beat Corbyn a few times in a race across the pool!! ;-)
The children made friends with Zach and Taber one day while we were swimming. It is always amazing to me how easily children bond!! The moment they entered the pool, they introduced themselves and played wonderfully with their new friends. Even, Azaryah enjoyed Taber and was sad when he had to say, "Good-bye".
Although, new friends are fun, the kiddos' best play buddy is their Daddy...Glen always has a blast goofing off and swimming with them...Just look at those smiles.
You have to keep an eye out for Corbyn and Daddy...They are pretty rowdy when they are together!! heehee

Branson Trip - The Anderson Family
God blessed us with time with some precious friends - Shawn and Jennifer Anderson. They live here in town, but we do not get to visit with them much. They have a home there in Branson so we connected on Tuesday night for some food and fun.
Jennifer and Michelle
Shawn and Glen
Keziah, Jacquilyn, Eden, Morgan, Corbyn, and Azaryah...The kiddos got to sit at their own table and they all did very well. Azaryah had to have a little "talk" about mid-way through but he really did well with the "big kids" ;-)

The Corprews...
God has blessed us in many ways. One of the most precious gifts HE continues to give is the gift of friendship. Kevin and Cahrrie are two of our dearest friends and we love them very much.
Tonight, Kevin and Cahrrie came down for dinner and some family fun. The kiddos played wonderfully and had a blast. Aren't the adorable?!?! Azaryah, Kailey, Eden, Corbyn, Cassadie, and Keziah
Kevin and Glen always have a good time cutting up...Two very handsome men ;-)
I have loved Cahrrie since the first time we meet. Her family and our family moved were transferred here at the same time 8 years ago. The Lord has continued to allow us to be very close over the years and across the miles!!
