Little Ones' Egg Hunt Continued...

Eden spotted those eggs all around the swingset and had them in her basket before the other two could get over there.

Azaryah spotted that egg and was making a mad dash to grab it!

The Big Boys' Hunt

The big boys got to hunt eggs on the side yards and in the front yard. They flew through there like a bunch of locusts and gathered up those eggs in no time ;-) They had a blast!!!

The little ones followed behind to watch all the fun.

Azaryah thought he was one of the "big boys" and tried to help...

In all the excitment, Azaryah lost a few eggs but the big boys helped him pick them back up and put them in his basket ;-)

Saturday afternoon was a gorgeous day!!!

Easter Tradition

Since we do not have family here and some friends of ours do not have family in the area, we started a family tradition of celebrating Easter together. The last two years, the House family has come down to our home for an Egg Hunt, Easter dinner and family fellowship.

Coloring Eggs...

This afternoon, we took time to color a few eggs. The kiddos LOVED doing this and are already looking forward to cracking them open in the morning and eating them. I guess they think they will have a "colorful" flavor since the shells have turned bright colors!!! heehee Azaryah got to go first...

Keziah was right on Azaryah's heels watching for her turn...

Corbyn jumped in and showed the little ones how he could color his egg without getting the color all over him ;-)

Eden loves her blue egg and still marvels at how "blue" it got!!!

The finished product!!! Now, those are some good-lookin' eggs!!!

Keziah's Dress...

I actually made Keziah's dress all by myself today!!!

There were a few moments that I wanted to give up, but I am so glad I did not...Keziah was so excited about the dress and I really did enjoy doing it after I saw the completed product (and the smile on her face!!).

Isn't she adorable?!?!? Too sweet!!!

My handsome husband has asked me to learn to sew so that I can teach our girls this skill. You should know that I am NOT a creative person and sewing a button on a shirt intimidates me!! But, to honor Glen, I agreed to learn.

God has blessed me with three wonderful teachers, Sara, Mara, and Martha. They were very encouraging and patient. We really had a wonderful day of food, fun, fellowship, and lots of sewing!!
