Welcome as you step inside our daily life. We are excited to share with you glimpses of what God is doing in our family. Our family's journey began 21 years ago when Glen and I were married. We have had wonderful times as well as trials. Our journey is not perfect, but we are committed to try to glorify the Lord and we are excited to have you join us in our walk. Hold on because you are in for a fun, but bumpy ride…

Toby, Toby, Toby
Aunt Charlene bought a little puppy, Toby, while visiting in Kentucky. The children had a blast playing with him!! He is so cute and of course Charlene has clothes, a coat, and a carrier for him that is way too cute. He accompanied us on our outing on Tuesday and he loved running in the backyard with all four of the kiddos running around after him...Guess what the kiddos want!?!?! Guess what Daddy said?!?! "NO!!" ;-(
Aunt Charlene's Visit
This week we had the privilege of hosting Aunt Charlene in our home!!
The children kept her and Toby, her puppy, busy. They painted, chatted and showed her several games on the Wii. On Tuesday, we all headed over to a little town west of here for a day of window shopping and lunch.
We all had a wonderful time and we already miss them both...

Corbyn and his Bionicles...
Corbyn has been putting together Lego Bionicles since he was three. He LOVES to put them together and create his own design. Yesterday, during rest time, he put all his Bionicles in a "battle" zone and played for a few hours. Of course, when rest time was over and Azaryah started to "play," the perfectly positioned battle zone became more of a war zone!! heehee (If you are wondering, the car bed is Corbyn's toddler bed that Azaryah now sleeps in...The boys share a room with bright colors - half "big boy" and half "little boy" things.)
Parent's Night
Tuesday night was Parent's Night at the girl's ballet/tap class. The class began with some warm-up...
The girls are learning such grace and poise from Miss Heidi...Aren't they beautiful?!?!
The tap portion of the class was so cute...The girls are working on their recital piece and those cowboy hats were having a hard time staying on their heads- YEE-HAW

Which One's George?!?!
Thanks, Aunt Deb ;-)
Saturday, the children were blessed by a package from Aunt Deb. What began as a treat for Azaryah (for trying to potty train) ended up a treat for all...Aunt Deb mailed Azaryah a Curious George doll and the other kiddos received $5.00 a piece. Guess where we went yesterday after church?!?! TOYS R US...

Me and Daddy Time...
Every Thursday, Glen does something special with one of the children. He has lunch with the older ones and they play a game or make a craft together. With Azaryah, he takes him to Storytime at our local library. Today was Daddy and Azaryah time. The theme today was Alligators...The stories, songs, and craft focused on that theme. They had a wonderful time ;-)

Symphony Fieldtrip
Thursday, our homeschool group was blessed with the opportunity to go to the Symphony. We do this every year and the children really enjoy it. The entire program is geared toward children. This allows the children to experience the fine art of music but on a level they can appreciate.
I have to brag on our Little Man...Azaryah did not do so well last year at the Symphony. An hour of music was not something a 1 1/2 year old was in the mood for...However, this year we talked to him about proper Symphony etiquette (sitting on Mommy's lap quietly without moving around) and he did a GREAT job!! He sat still, clapped when everyone clapped and enjoyed watching the musicians play their instruments.
Before the Symphony began, we had some time to chat and socialize with our friends...That is always a highlight of any fieldtrip ;-)
This year, our older children sat by their friends...They did very well. They are getting to the age where they are beginning to appreciate the music and enjoy listening to the classical music at home and in the car. Children are truly a blessing from the Lord.

Friday Night Fellowship...
Friday night, we had the blessing of having Ray and Jenna and their six children over for dinner. The children had a blast playing together and watching a movie in our sunroom.
Jenna and I always have something to talk about and our hubbies enjoy visiting together as well.
We enjoyed some after dinner entertainment as the girls played several songs on the bells...They really did a wonderful job ;-)
