Saturday at the Layman's

Once a month, Dave and Beth, Robert and Susan, Kevin and Cahrrie, Rob and Kim, and Glen and I go to dinner as couples. It is a wonderful time for us to enjoy some food, fun, and fellowship. This month, we decided to have an extra Couples' Dinner and include our children. Robert is going to be gone for several months so we wanted to gather around him and his family and pray for them and encourage them. We were sad that Rob and Kim were not able to join us.

The afternoon began with the men taking the children to the pond so they could swim. The ladies stayed in the house and discussed our plans for this year's home educating. Of course, we had to "sample" the food to make sure it was just right!! heehee

My Handsome Man actually got in the pond with the children...Or has he tells it "Azaryah and Emma Rose pushed him in!!" Truth be told, Mr. Jones wanted to get in so he could do the zip line!!! lol

All the little guys and gals are required to wear life jackets...Azaryah was upset because he wanted to wear his floaties...So we compromised...He wore BOTH!!!

The kiddos had a BLAST!!!
