Are The Chores EVER Finished?!?!?

Today is Chore Day around the Jones' home...Glen and the kiddos were up and at it early this morning. We have a 76 year old home that has been restored. When we moved in, we did not have to do anything to it because the previous owner had already replaced the electrical system, all the plumbing, roof, restored all the original hardwood floors throughout and put in central heating and air. It is a precious cape cod with LOTS of charcter. When we were considering the house, I took a couple of friends to see it. Cahrrie helped with the decorating ideas and Trisha pointed out that it looked like a "Leave It To Beaver" home ;-)

Although the house is in good condition, Glen likes to put his own touches on the homes we live in...Our first home had an unfinished basement and Glen finished it by putting in a family room, office, large storage closet, workout area and laundry. Our second house was complete except for one unfinished area in the downstairs. Glen and my Daddy finished that room and made it our first school room. Glen has several "projects" for this home. He and Daddy started by rebuilding our green house's windows and frame. Once that is finished, Glen is moving to the front porch - recementing the bricks and laying new concrete for our sidewalk and driveway.

Azaryah is overseeing Corbyn's work as he is blowing the leaves into a pile in the backyard...Thank you Jesus for a home to care for, a body that is able to move, and sunshine on our faces as we work together!!
