Fire Station Field Trip

Yesterday, the three little ones and I headed into the city for a field trip. We joined some sweet friends for a tour of the Fire Station. The tour began with a Fire Safety cartoon, a tour around the fire station, a practice fire drill, a look inside the fire truck, and exploration of all the tools and equipment inside the fire truck. The children had a blast!!!

Fire Station Field Trip continued...

The fireman took time to put on his fire suit so the children could see what he looked like...He explained that it might be scary if their home was on fire and he came into their room to rescue them but they are NOT to hide but to call to him or run to him so he can help them...

The children really enjoyed the tour around the Fire Station...Every little boy wants to be a firefighter now ;-) heehee

Package from Nana and Pawpaw

The children received a package from Nana and Pawpaw yesterday...They enjoyed the goodies inside ;-)
The boys received transformers and got busy putting them together right away...But first, the kiddos called to thank Pawpaw!!

While the boys put together transformers, the girls were in their room working on their weaving kit!!!!

Everyone enjoyed a Peep ;-)

Thank you, Nana and Pawpaw, for blessing us today!!!

Saturday Mornings

I love lazy Saturdays in our home...The kiddos sleep late in the living room because we stayed up late on Friday night having Family Slumber Party watching movies until after midnight...

Glen makes his famous homemade, blueberry pancakes...

And Azaryah snuggles up in our bed to read his library books while drinking chocolate milk...
