Carving the Pumpkin

Wednesday, the kiddos and I went to the Pumpkin Patch and picked out a pumpkin...Isn't is a beauty!??!

Of course, we had to gather all the seeds for some yummy roasting!!!

Before the face could be carved, Glen had all the children draw the face they wanted...Then he took all their ideas and combined them to make the perfect face. They drew the blueprint on the pumpkin and began carving...

Great Job!!! Such a happy pumpkin!!!

The yummy seeds...Boy were they good!!!

Happy Harvest, All!!!

Hay Mazes, Slides, Playsets, and Farm Vehicles

Tire Swings and Jumping Pillows

The Pumpkin Patch has two barns on the property. One barn is a haunted house and the other has tire swings, a corn box (instead of a sand box), a digging pit and a slide. The kiddos has a good time playing in here for quite a while...

The Jumping Pillow was a hoot!!! We got there as soon as they opened and left just before lunch so we had the place pretty much to ourselves...The kiddos got to jump for a good 20-30 minutes before any other children came to join in the fun.

Trains and Things

Azaryah and Keziah rode the Pumpkin Express...

Toot Toot!!!

The kiddos had a blast running around the fields looking for the perfect pumpkin ;-)

Didn't take Corbyn long to find his pumpkin!!! I think it weighed about as much as he does!!! heehee

We had a wonderful time at the Pumpkin Patch ;-)

Corbyn's 1st Job

Yesterday, Glen arranged for Corbyn's 1st job!! Corbyn is responsible for clearing out all the leaves in our neighbor's yard, and it is a HUGE yard!! Of course, Glen was right by Corbyn's side, teaching him, training him and guiding him in how to do the job properly...Our kiddos are very blessed to have such a wonderful, loving, and involved father!!!
