Our Christmas Baby's Birthday...

God brought Keziah into the world on Christmas morning (4 weeks early).  We celebrate her birthday Christmas night but we do her Birthday Breakfast in Bed on Christmas Eve morning.  The entire family helped make her birthday pancake extra special...
 Happy Birthday, My Love...
Keziah chose steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, corn on the cob, and rolls for her birthday dinner...We followed that up with a beautiful CUPCAKE cake...

I cannot believe my baby is 9 years old...
 All the birthday blessings!!!!

Christmas Eve Tradition

Every year since I was a little girl our family has celebrated Christmas Eve the same way.  We begin our evening with a delicious Christmas dinner followed by reading the Christmas story, putting halos on our heads (that my sister and I made when we were 3 years old and 5 years old), singing Christmas carols ending with the entire family singing and acting out The 12 Days of Christmas...Glen and I added in our own tradition once we had children...We allow them to open one gift on Christmas Eve...MATCHING PJs!!!

I am so blessed to have a wonderful family who loves me and keeps me focused on the true meaning of Christmas...Jesus Christ and His gift to us!!!  SALVATION!!!

Corbyn's Lego Table

Pawpaw, Glen, Corbyn, and Azaryah worked together to make Corbyn a Lego table for his Lego Kingdom set.  It is such a blessing to watch them work together, laugh together, and enjoy one another...
 Corbyn is so silly...
Pawpaw taught Azaryah how to sand the sides of the table to make it smooth...
The top has two sides...Now Corbyn can play with his sets on two different scenes.
 Primed and ready to paint...
Corbyn worked really hard on the scenery...He and Pawpaw did a GREAT job!!!
 First side ready...

 Second side ready to go...
They even painted stones on the side of the table to make it look even more Kingdom like...
TADA!!!!!  Priceless!!!!

Baking with Nana

Every year, Nana and the girls enjoy some baking time.  Azaryah enjoys helping too...His job is to taste test!!  So far, they have made peanut butter balls, turtles, chex mix, M&M cookies, cheese balls, fruit cookies, and ginger snaps.  (Most of which are gluten-free.)  Today, they will be making wedding cookies, chocolate cookies, and Hello Dolly cookies...YUM-O

Projects with Pawpaw

Every year, Daddy, Glen, and Corbyn work on projects around the house.  One year, Daddy flew out and helped Glen finish our basement so we could have a school room.  Another year, Daddy and Glen built windows for our green house.  One trip, Daddy, Glen and Corbyn built Azaryah a train table and Daddy painted the scenery on it for him.  Last year, Daddy, Glen, and Corbyn built the girls a curio cabinet so they could have a safe place to display their collectables.  This year, Azaryah is getting in on the action.  They started off hangind mirrors in the boys and girls' rooms and now they are working on Corbyn's Lego table...Pictures to come once it is complete!!

Hanging Out with Pawpaw and Nana

We have the blessing of having my Daddy and Mama here with us for almost 3 weeks!!!  We have so much fun when they come out.  Of course, there are LOTS of family games...
Nana and Pawpaw also join in the children's activities...In this picture, they are watching Keziah's basketball practice...
They worship with us as well...They are all dressed up and looking fine...
No trip is complete without Pawpaw and Azaryah playing Batman for HOURS!!!!
And you know there are LOTS and LOTS of family movies...Here Azaryah is all snuggled up and enjoying Rudolph with Nana and Pawpaw.  Thank You, Lord, for my parents and their love for our family!!!
