Look Pawpaw...I Have a Fishin' Hat Too

Eden's Last Soccer Game

Eden is our gentle, kind-hearted child but NOT when she is on the soccer field!! Last week, she pulled one little girl's hair and pushed (and knocked down) several of the opposing team's players. Yesterday before the game I reminded her that she was to be kind on the field to which she replied, "But, Mommy, it is a game and I HAVE to get the ball!!" Where does she get that ornariness?!?!?! heehee
Coach Jones (aka, Daddy) and Eden...Sweet Memories!!!

Lady Cyclones!!! Great Season Girls!!!

Made With Love

I love the summer because I have time to sew and make some fun things for the girls and I...This is the shirt I made for the girls this morning...

And matching bow, of course!!!

This is the bow I made to match one of their summer shirts...

I did not make this shirt, but I thought it was adorable and it gave me an excuse to make another bow ;-)

Corbyn's Tumbling Class

Every year, Glen allows our children to choose one sport/activity that they would like to try. This year, Corbyn chose Boy Tumbling. The end of the year perfomance was WONDERFUL!!! They performed stunts, tumbling, and gymnastics to "Danger Zone"...My Baby Boy can flip and flop all over the place ;-)

AWANA Award Night

This year was Keziah's last year in Sparks and Azaryah's first year as a Cubbie. They both did such a good job learning their verses and reciting them each week.

Azaryah learned every verse in his book and earned his 1st Year Book Cubbie Bear and Certificate!!

My Sweet Babies...

Keziah followed in the footsteps of her big brother and sister. In the past five years of AWANA, Keziah earned every jewel, completed every book, completed each year's additional workbook, and received the Sparkie Award!!!

Mommy and Daddy are so proud of our little ones!!!!

Landscaping by Corbyn

Glen has been teaching Corbyn to mow the grass, clear away leaves and weeds from our landscaping, and how to properly maintain our yard. Corbyn has worked many hours and has done a wonderful job!!!!

Corbyn and Glen painted the trim and fence, laid the mulch, and designed the layout of the plants.

Corbyn also cleared away all the weeds from around the fence and hung the hanging pots around the backyard

Corbyn and I worked together to put together the bird bath and clear away all the leaves, weeds, and overgrown plants from behind the tree

This area was covered with vines, leaves, and poison ivy...Corbyn worked hard to clear all that away (except for the poison ivy...Glen took care of that) and I pulled all the vines off the fence. Glen, Corbyn, and Daddy rebuilt the windows in our green house.

My baby boy is getting so big!!!!

Hanging Tomato Plants with Daddy

Glen bought the younger ones a hanging tomato plant so he could show them how to do a little gardening as well as to have a project that they could enjoy with him.

They all four had a wonderful time at lunch one day working together!!

Following Daddy's hands...Glen's leadership in our family is priceless!!!!

Glen's time and devotion to our children is such a blessing to them and to me...God is been so gracious!!!

Look at them growing!!!!

Flowers From Nana V

Glen's mother, Nana V, sent the children a couple of packets of seeds and some flowers to transplant. Glen took the younger ones out at lunch one day and helped them plant them in a cute little flower pot...

I love this picture!!! All of their hands working together...They learn so much from their Daddy!!!

Thank you, Nana V!!!!

A job well done ;-)

Keeping Nana and Pawpaw Busy

Having Nana and Pawpaw come out in the spring is a real blessing for our family. Our children rarely get to have Nana and Pawpaw attend any of their activites but this visit, we really kept them busy!!! We got to celebrate Mother's Day with Nana and enjoy having them at church with us.

Nana and Pawpaw got to see Eden play soccer...

Azaryah invited Nana and Pawpaw to Storytime...They got to sing, dance, listen to a story, and make a craft together.

Nana and Pawpaw got to watch Corbyn perform in his Tumbling recital...The boys did a great routine to "Danger Zone." Lots of tumbling, gymnastics, stunts, and flips off the trampoline!!!

Nana was able to attend the last Girl Scout meeting for this year...Both Eden and Keziah received their awards and Nana got to see the entire event!!!

Project with Pawpaw

Every time Mama and Daddy visit, Daddy and Glen work on a project. Last time, Daddy, Glen and Corbyn built the girls a curio cabinet to keep all their keepsakes. This visit, Glen had planned for he, Daddy and Corbyn to pour four new pavers for our sidewalk and to finish rebuilding the windows in the greenhouse. Well, the weather did not cooperate...It rained off and on the entire week, so the men got together and recovered our dining room chairs!! Even Azaryah got in on the action ;-)

The men had to call Nana in on the project...The material would not lay properly on the corners so Nana showed them how to make the corners look professional!!! GO NANA!!!

TADA...Before and After

Going Places with Nana and Pawpaw

While Nana and Pawpaw are in town, we try to go different places and experience new things together. This trip, we went into a neighboring town and walked through thier downtown. It was full of fun, unique shops, ethnic foods, and several art galleries. We all enjoyed browsing through the galleries and walking through the shops.

Of course, we found a WONDERFUL pizza place in the bottom of one of the buildings...YUMMY YUMMY YUMMY!!!

We even squeezed in a field trip...We all went into the city to see a movie and while we were waiting, Glen arranged for us to go "behind the scenes" and see how the movies are stored, programmed and project on the big screen!!!

We all enjoyed "How to Train Your Dragon" and some popcorn with extra butter!!!

Fun with Nana and Pawpaw

While Nana and Pawpaw were here, we all so much fun!!! Daddy took Corbyn out to find some art supplies that he needs to do sketches this fall. Pawpaw spent time showing Corbyn how to use the drawing pencils (graphite) and how to use his sketch pad...So sweet!!!

We got to celebrate Mother's Day with Nana!!! We have not been with her on Mother's Day in years...Nana is so generous...She shared her chocolate covered strawberries with us!!! YUM-O

I love my Mama!!!!

Pawpaw spent one morning painting with the children...Mama and I snuck away to do a little shoe shopping and lunch ;-)

My Mama and Daddy...Aren't they cute?!?!?!
