Thanksgiving and the 40th Celebration

We began Thanksgiving Day by gathering in Mom and Daddy's living room (now Daddy's art studio) and eating together. Our entire family has not done this in a very long time, so it was a blessing to visit, laugh and catch up.

After we ate, we cleaned up the dishes, rearrange the room, set up the cake table and decorated it with Mom and Daddy's engagement pictures, wedding picture, and a beautiful flower arrangement containing colors from their wedding. With all the family seated around, Glen walked Mom and Daddy through the renewal of their vows. It was a precious time for all of us.

After the vows and the exchanging of their gifts to one another, the family took time to bless Mom and Daddy with words of encouragement, memories, and "thank yous" for what they and their marriage have meant to each of us. God is good and gracious to allow us this time together!!
