Flat Stanley

Jim and Trisha's youngest son, Henry, ask our family to help him with a school assignment. Henry mailed Flat Stanley to us last week and asked that we show him around our area. Azaryah decided to take Flat Stanley with him to storytime at the library.

Glen thought Flat Stanley would enjoy traveling with us to New York. Flat Stanley did very well on the airplane. We hardly even knew he was there :-)

Glen took Flat Stanley and I all over Manhatten. On this trip, Flat Stanley enjoyed a tour bus ride all around Upper Manhatten and into Harlem...You do not see Flat Stanley in this picture because he decided to travel in my purse. It looked like rain and Flat Stanley did not want to get wet...

Flat Stanley joined us for a tour of the Museum of Natural History. He was quite interested in the dinosaurs.

Glen had a blast showing Flat Stanley all the sites of the museum…

Flat Stanley also joined us as we traveled to SoHo, Little Italy, Chinatown, Greenwich Village, Central Park, Times Square, Fifth Avenue, Gound 0, Wall Street and Madison Square Garden, the Empire State Building, the MET, the subway, and two Broadway Shows. Needless to say, Flat Stanley is exhausted and ready to return to Henry to tell him all about his travels. Thanks, Henry, for sharing Flat Stanley with our family. We love ya ;-)
