Our Trip Out West

In November 2007, Glen took our family on a trip out west. Our hope is to take the children to as many states as possible before they leave our home. On this trip, we were able to visit 8 states. Our destination was Arizona to visit our very, very dear friends, Jim and Trisha.

On our way, we drove through the Colorado Moutains and Utah. We stopped for an afternoon of sight-seeing at the Arches National Park in Utah.

The pictures do not do the natural arches justice...It was amazing to see how the Lord God has arranged rocks on top of rocks and the formations in which they stand. To think that HE created these landscapes for our enjoyment and His glory is overwhelming!!
